I have been using this product for 2 years and my 3-year old son likes the smell. I am used to apply it to my son's face and body before sleeping. It is expensive in Hong Kong when ordering from an online shop, so I would like to express my appreciation to iHerb for offering such a reasonable price, thank you so much!

I bought two of these and one of them, the container got jammed and there was no way to open it, lots of us tried and it was very annoying. Not sure how well it works as we kept picking up the wrong container (The one we couldn't open) so we all got annoyed with it and threw it away! If it was in a tube or a jar with a regular lid, that would have been more helpful

Have been using this balm since 2011 but recently, the balm's ingredients seemed to have changed. We noticed the "fragrance" of the balm has changed, more smelly than previously citronella-based smell.
Will be looking for another product.
Hope Badger company can look into this.

This stuff really works well. I live in Texas in a heavily wooded area with lots of mosquitoes. This really keeps them away!!! Great!

I tested this bug balm on a trip to Singapore a few years ago. Since then I've been searching for somewhere to buy this amazing product online, and FINALLY I did! This works! The bugs really don't bite you, and it sticks to the skin, even if you are sweating though a rainforest in Malaysia. And it doesen't smell bad either :-)

I'd just use this so I can keep smelling it! It works too. My ankles thank you.

Seems to work great! I put it on before I go out to do some gardening to keep pesky bugs off of me.

Great citronella smell that lasts, soothes insect bites too.

No problems rubbing in but maybe cos I live in tropical Singapore where heat is an issue...

My second tub and only because the first tub has expired.
A little goes a long way so each tube can last a long while. I will leave it open and put on the table beside me, to keep the mosquitoes away, while I work or sleep.
I will also use it on the insect bites to ease the itch.

I wish it comes in a small slim tube, so that its portable and I don't have to dip my fingers in it.

I am so disappointed. When I held this product, a mosquito also bit my hand.

Its very sticky cream. I applied it before I go outside. But I still got many bites finally. So disappointed...

Effective in repelling mosquitoes. I actually often forget to put it on before I go walking my dog and I put this on the bites afterwards - it stops the itchiness too. This is definitely a great alternative to all those chemical laden repellent.

I love that this is safe to use on me and my kids! The smell is pleasant and it DOES work.

Love the scent & it works! I'm a mozzie magnet...not anymore! I love it's so portable, I bring it with me on occasions when I know I'll need to reapply. Just smelling it makes me happy :D

Helpful against mosquitos, but no effect against gnats. The citronellea smell is overwhelming.

i'm impressed with this anti-bug balm. i'd used it a few times to nature parks, and so far i haven't get any bites yet. and i like the smell.

I applied this for outdoor activity and it works very well. I even used it on mosquito bites and works miraculously - itching has gone very quickly.

This is a superb product, it really works!

Our Russian mosquitoes are hard-working and stubborn and they were very persistent despite this balm. :) Still, I DID notice that mosquitoes attack more seldom and I have fewer problems with them. I rubbed this balm and went to the forest to pick up blueberries and mushrooms. When I was picking up blueberries mosquitoes attacked me but much less and though I had to kill them on me from time to time it was not so often. As for mushrooms, it felt much better as I was moving. And I noticed that mosquitoes weren't so aggressive as they were when I was without this balm. I wish the balm repelled ticks too.
The smell is citrus and rather strong. The balm is hard to the touch at first, then it melts, it is a little bit greasy but not too much. I apply generously so it is not economical for me. All in all, it performs its function quite well and I will buy it again for sure.

Love this! I gave it to my Dad to use in Vanuatu to prevent mosquito bites and malaria. He said it worked well and he lathered himself in it every day.

I bought four 2-oz tins of this Anti-Bug Balm a couple months back when iHerb was running a 2-for-1 special; not knowing how well the product worked, I figured the price was right to take a chance. Well, we live in the far western UP of Michigan, just off the Lake Superior shoreline, and it is now officially mosquito season, and the little buggers are out... mosquitoes and the gnats! I've been using the bug balm for a few days now and I'm exceedingly pleased with its effectiveness. It repels all but the most suicidal mosquitoes, it doesn't sting or irritate my skin like DEET-based repellents sometimes do; the citronella & rosemary odor - though significant - is not objectionable like DEET repellents; and the balm is long lasting. I wish now that I had bought another half dozen, or more, tins back when it was on sale!

The smell is powerful and citric, it works for what is meant too. Have recommended and would buy again.

We live in a tropical area, very humid and hot. So we have mosquito problems at home and around the neighborhood. For that purpose this product was effective, and also very pleasent to use. I love the smell personally. I DID NOT test it out in the wild, camping or whatever, so I can't vouch for its effectivity there.

I keep it in my bag at all times, it seems quite effective in repelling mosquitoes, as well as an anti-itch balm.

I've tried this balm a few times and it works. Mosquitoes usually love me but I didn't get any bites after wearing this. I gave it 4 stars because the balm is very hard and it's difficult to get it onto your hands to apply.

I bought this to send to relatives in sticky and mosquito mecca places. I had heard great things about it- that travelers and explorers alike swore by its ability to fend off all those flying pesky bugs. I thought it might help to ward off the West Nile mosquitoes that are prevalent in the area but I had no idea how great it would actually work. My whole family down South now swears by it. No harsh chemicals and it does not stain your clothes like some chemical based repellents do and best of all (did I mention?) the stuff really works! No mosquito bites even in heavily infested areas. Enjoy the outdoors again and if you work outdoors this is a must.

there is a delicate smell of ginger, but it's useful in case of bitten by an insect
